Botox® Cosmetic is a natural purified protein that binds with receptor sites to weaken muscle contraction thereby causing a reduction in wrinkles, fine lines and facial creases. Clinical trials began in the 1960’s with effective medical treatments beginning as early as 1976. The effects typically last 3-4 months with no down time.

Botox® Cosmetic is an FDA approved product that has become one of the most popular and effective treatments for dynamic facial wrinkles.

Dynamic wrinkles are due to the action of facial muscles, such as, prominent forehead creases, brow furrows or eye lines (crow’s feet).

Botox® Cosmetic treatment is quick and minimally invasive. You can expect to see results within a few days after your treatment; however, the appearance of the areas injected may continue to improve for up to a week. Results generally last between three and four months. Smooth away frown lines, forehead furrows, crow’s feet or just about any wrinkle on the face without surgery. Just a few small injections and you could look 10 years younger.

FAQs about Chemical Peels

Based on your professional skin analysis,  a chemical peel can be prescribed to treat your condition.

Chemical peels are effective when performed in a series on a regular basis.  Therefore we offer incentive pricing and packages to complete the series so you get the most out of your treatment.

The purpose of a chemical peel is to stimulate the skin’s repair mechanism which in turn generates new collagen production, resurfaces the texture, removes unhealthy skin cells, stimulate cellular turnover, helps maintain moisture, rebuilds vascularity so more nutrients can feed the cells and evens out skin tone.  The skin becomes more supple and moist, thus reducing the depth visibility of fine lines. Fine lines are a sign of dehydration.

A series of 4 to 6 in-office La Roche-Posay MicroPeel procedures are recommended in 2 to 4 week entervals(depending on your skin type).

An exclusive 3 step epidermal chemical peel consists of:

1. Dead cellular layers are removed by dermaplaning ( a technique popularized by Biomedic since 1991) or Biomedic Exfozyme.

2. An alpha-hydroxy acid solution is applied to the skin.  After the desired level of exfoliation is reached, the solution is neutralized.

3. Third, a freezing process called Cryogenic Therapy immediately relieves inflammation and cools the skin.

The treatment also consists of a deep cleansing and ending with sunscreen to make your skin feel softer, smoother and more refined.

Quick and permanent hair reduction is just a few treatments away. Using Elos™ Technology , which combines both light and radio frequency current to thermally damage hair follicle, even poor target hair such as gray, white, blonde and red.

The bipolar frequency follows the principles of electrical current. It has no relationship with melanin in the skin, which is why it can be applied to all skin types safely and remove hair from just about anywhere on the body.

There is gradual and cumulative reduction of hair with each treatment session. When continually treated it is probable that 80-90% clearance may be achieved between 6-8 treatments.

Remove unwanted hair, virtually pain free, on all body areas including: upper lip, cheeks, chin, neck, breasts, stomach, arms, shoulders, bikini area, legs and back for any skin tone.

Elos™ Technology is the first and only technology that simultaneously harnesses the power of bi-polar radio frequency (RF) and optical energy. Aesthetic treatments from Permanent Hair Reduction and skin rejuvenation are easier, safer, and more effective than ever before.

How does hair removal work?

Elos™ Technology hair removal uses laser or broad spectrum light and bi-polar frequency energies to damage the hair follicle. This disables the follicle from growing hair, which means that gradually over several treatments, there is a permanent reduction in the amount of hair in that area.

What is the advantage of elos hair removal system?

There are no exclusionary criteria based on the skin type or hair color (The treatment approach for apigmented hair is different that treating dark hair see below).

How is the hair reduction treatment effective for apigmented hair?

The treatment protocol for white, red, grey, and blond hair is different than the treatment approach for dark hair. Multiple passes are required at maximum RF energy setting in order to disable these follicles. People may achieve noticeable reduction in the amount of apigmented hair with 8-12 treatment sessions. There is a higher non-response rate with these hair types when compared to darkly pigmented hair; approximately 3 in 10 people may not have any reduction in blond hair. These non-responders should be identified after the 3rd treatment as evidenced by no extrusion of treated hairs by 1 month following the 3rd treatment session. Coarse white, red, and grey hair seems to respond better than fine blonde peach fuzz.

How effective is the treatment?

In a study which included skin types II-V showed 35-42% clearance 3 months after a single treatment. Post treatment hair extrusion occurs 2-3 weeks. Some hair shafts can be pulled out of the follicle immediately post treatment without resistence; indicating disengagement from the follicle while the hair shaft is still intact; the bipolar RF energy effect is clearly evident.

Is the treatment safe?

Elos™ Technology  hair removal is very safe for the skin. There are many advances in the technology that makes Elos™ Technology one of the safest hair removal systems available for all skin colors. There are no long term health hazards from laser or electric energies used in elos technology. Both optical and radio frequency have been used for decades in medicine, surgery and aesthetics without adversity.

How is elos hair removal treatment tolerated?

Everyone has different pain tolerance but most people are treated without topical anesthetic creams. The chilled air device, SynerCool, is vey helpful for discomfort during treatment.

What results can one expect from the elos treatment?

Each treatment will result in less hair coming back, as well as hair growing progressively lighter in color, finer and slower with each treatment. It will take multiple treatments to affect all the follicles growing in an area. Most people achieve satisfactory clearance after 6-8 treatments, however individual results vary depending on medical and genetic factors. Lighter colored hair may require more treatments than darker colored hair.

How frequently do I need hair removal?

Elos™ Technology hair removal treatments are usually performed every 2-3 months, but this depends on individual factors as it pertains to each person.

What happens after each Elos™ Technology hair removal treatment?

Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and most people return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. The treated area will “shed” some hairs over the next 2-4 weeks, and you may experience a period of hairlessness in the area while you wait for your next treatment.

Who should get treatment for elos hair removal?

Anyone who wants a permanent solution to shaving, waxing, plucking or electrolysis. There are a few medical conditions that contraindicate people from treatment.

What is the average number of treatments for hair reduction of dark hair?

The average number of treatments is 6 to 8 to achieve satisfactory clearance, but some people may require more or less. Men’s backs and chests, facial hair and hormonal hair take more than the average number of sessions, usually 8 or more.

The LSR uses laser technology to restore skin to a more youthful state. Brown spots (pigmented imperfections) from sun damage and aging, red blotchiness from spider vessels or rosacea (vascular imperfections), and uneven skin texture will improve over a treatment series.

What results can one expect from the Laser Skin Rejuvenation treatment?

Each treatment will result in gradual lightening and improvement of pigmented

and vascular imperfections. Textural improvements are appreciated towards the end of The Treatment series.

What happens after each Laser Skin Rejuvenation treatment?

Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and most people return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. The improvement in pigmented and vascular irregularities can often be appreciated by the time you return for your next treatment a month later. Brown spots temporarily go darker but they will lighten with time.

How is the Laser Skin Rejuvenation treatment tolerated?

The sensation is often described as “hot pinch” feeling. The sensation only lasts for fraction of a second, and you may feel warmth or tingling sensation for a short time afterward. Most people tolerate treatment without topical anesthetic, but individuals who are more sensitive may prefer to have the skin numbed before treatment.

Who should get treatment for Laser Skin Rejuvenation?

Anyone who wants to improve the signs of sun damage and aging in the skin, such as pigmented and vascular irregularities, uneven or rough skin texture. Laser skin rejuvenation can be done on face, neck, chest, hands, arms and legs.

Uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation; remove debris from pores with painless suction; nourish with intense moisturizers and saturate the skin with antioxidants and peptides to maximize your glow.
